for not posting anything in a long time. I have been dealing with too much drama. boo! but here are some illustrations I have finished a few weeks ago. I plan on making some greeting cards to sell to some store around my town to see if im on the right track and will plan set up a esty.com store...YAY

Ok well when im unsatisfied with a illustration I usually will start over. I redid this self portrait. I first is the one in bright pink. which I think is too bright but at the same time I enjoy bright colors and the skin tone stands out. the second looks great but scanned in look too pale and not as bright. its out in a field so I think shouldnt the whole illustration be brighter? so Im asking anyone who sees this which looks best. I like them both for different reasons. VOTE VOTE VOTE! thanks. and no I dont have a huge ego where i must paint myself so many times...well sort of. lol

yarn YAY!

WOW I havent posted a blog in such a long time.....I have been busy lately setting everything up and preparing to move. I havent drawn in awhile too (shame on me) so first thing i drew yarn...yup yarn. The first illustration was done using micron pens and coloring it in photoshop, I also submitted it to threadless.com hope it goes through. and thought i would keep playing around with this. yarn is harder to draw than u think. its also alot of fun. Im gonna continue drawing these since the wrappings of it is what...interesting.

Its True.

I would like to describe my work as very personal, flooding from my mind, imagination. Illustrations that come out unusual but I've been noticing how lonely, vulnerable they look (ex. very unfortunate, oldies but goodies...my book dummy). But humorous at the same time to lighten it up, everyone feels it so I know I shouldnt feel guilty. I painted this in november...in a bit of a hurry.

My first illustrations trying out cut-paper. which came out great. Working on cut paper definitely helps when you have color issues or put in alittle variety into your usual illustrations. This was from my junior Illustration final. I wanted to create something unusual and humorous.

new works. I finished this a few months ago but i have been so busy with two jobs and a internship I just come home and crash. But now my other jobs spring schedule is a lot slower and i have used this time to set up my site and painting as much as I can while going back to school. yes very busy.
